HustleU Terms & Conditions

Welcome to HustleU. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HustleU platform. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use HustleU.

1. What HustleU Is

HustleU is a verified, college-specific discovery and communication platform that helps students connect with other students at their own college (or, if they choose to search, students at other colleges) for skills, services, and academic resources — including but not limited to tutoring, design work, notes digitization, resume writing, video editing, and buying/selling/exchanging/borrowing items such as books, calculators, hostel items, and electronics.

HustleU is a discovery and communication platform only. We help you find and message other verified students. We do not employ, supervise, or control any student who offers services or lists items, and we are not a party to any arrangement, exchange, or transaction between students. Students independently decide how, where, and whether to complete any arrangement, including how payment is handled.

2. Eligibility & Verification

You must be a currently enrolled student at a recognized college or university to use HustleU.

You must provide accurate information during signup, including a genuine photograph of your student ID card, for verification purposes.

HustleU reserves the right to approve or reject any verification request at our discretion, and to revoke verified status if we later determine the information provided was false or misleading.

Providing false identification or misrepresenting your student status is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will NOT use HustleU to:

• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity, college, or course
• Submit, market, or facilitate the submission of assessed academic work (assignments, exams, projects meant to be completed and submitted by a specific student) on another student's behalf — HustleU supports tutoring, guidance, proofreading, formatting, note digitization, and creative/technical services, but does not permit academic impersonation or ghostwriting of graded work
• Post or exchange anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, or prohibited under applicable law
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against any other user
• Attempt to access another user's private data, including student ID images, without authorization
• Use HustleU for any commercial purpose unrelated to peer-to-peer student exchange (e.g., unrelated advertising, spam, or bulk solicitation)

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, at HustleU's discretion.

4. Payments & Transactions

HustleU does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment between users. Any payment, exchange of money, or transfer of goods arranged between students happens entirely outside the platform and is the sole responsibility of the students involved. HustleU is not liable for any dispute, non-payment, non-delivery, or dissatisfaction arising from an arrangement between users.

We strongly recommend students complete exchanges in safe, public, on-campus locations, and exercise the same caution they would with any peer-to-peer arrangement.

5. Content & Listings

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any request, offer, or listing you post.

HustleU reserves the right to remove any listing or content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

By posting content on HustleU, you grant us a limited license to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

6. Reviews

Reviews and ratings reflect the personal opinions of the students who submit them and are not verified or endorsed by HustleU as factual claims. Users agree not to post false, defamatory, or retaliatory reviews. HustleU reserves the right to remove reviews that violate this policy.

7. Reporting & Moderation

Users can report listings, profiles, or messages that violate these Terms. HustleU will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension/termination, at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HustleU and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to disputes between users, losses from a transaction or exchange, or the accuracy of any listing or user-provided information. HustleU is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.

9. Account Termination

HustleU reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent behavior, or any activity that harms the safety or integrity of the platform. Users may also delete their own account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of HustleU after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HustleU will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in [your city — set this to where you'll register your business].
